Capsule Mock-up
Hi Folks,
Just keeping folks informed. All efforts are to get this system implemented in this world of ours.
We, Jack Panter, David Panter (Las Vegas) and Daryl Oster have organized an LLC in the state of Nevada named PANTERRA TRANSPORTATION, LLC., for the purpose of implementing the technology of ET3. It is available to any licensee who wants to use it for that purpose. If some body wants to give us a billion dollars, we can use this organization if needed.
We (ET3) have been invited to the Colorado School of Mines Engineering conference this October in Golden Colorado, hopefully to participate in the students engineering projects this coming school year. Daryl and Brenda Oster have been extremely helpful and generous with their time. Father Dan Oster has been a big help and great support as well.
Currently I am trying to build a life sized capsule 16' x 51". I can get a 48 inch id (OD is 48.5) 16 foot sonotube built and if I can wrap it with 1.25 inch styro foam that would give me a 51 inch mold. Step (1); I need to build a 12 inch one to learn how to handle composites. My mold is a 12" sonotube wrapped with half inch styrofoam, wrapped in plastic shrink wrap (furniture movers have it). My first attempt was made from fiberglass and its resin. Even though I wrapped the styrofoam in plastic tyhe resin still caused the styrofoam to deteriorate. Not pretty although I did get a tube! Please don't tell me I am a hacker, I already know that, but if you have some suggestions, I am open to listen.
Why do this? One of the problems that I bump into, is getting past the notion that a tube is confining. I would like to have a life sized capsule for people to sit in and see the leg space they will have. I would like it to be better than the present interiors of cars, and tow it around the country to our different conferences.
To get people to think out of the paradigm box is a daunting task. Jack Panter Glenwood Springs, CO

Can't wait to sit in it. I have never handled resins before, so I'm not much help here.
This is my first reply to a comment on Et3.net.
Glenwood Springs is a beautiful place. My family went to the hot springs there. Great place for the first capsule. Very Atlas Shrugged!
