WANDERERS, EXPLORERS. OBSERVERS AND PLUNDERERS.
There is an insatiable drive in all humans to travel to and explore finding new things and experiences.
One has been numbed and dumbed down inside the envelope of the current Internet information revolution. The devices we buy, hold and use are offering a new way for people all over the world to lift themselves into the conversation of the 21st century.
Each person interprets this evolution of learning in a virtual world. Manipulating and evaluating this vast resource data is driven by natural curiosity for fast answers to questions. The quick responses are not necessarily evaluated for accuracy as to the validity of the source or actual value.
Each day these numerous interactions are counted in the billions. The transactions from virtual to reality are not enumerated each day for their worth of transmission into reality.
Each day there is a widening gap between the virtual and reality worlds. This mismatch cannot be reduced or satisfied rationally. We are venturing into a world of reliance on the integrity, ethics and morality of experts, historians, economists, engineers, corporations, and media and forbid us all, the politbureau.
Everyday we are challenged to assess the worth of all these messages we receive. Instead of being able to disseminate information for our very survival we are being blindsided by minority intelligence with such priorities for example as to colonize Mars. This is an admirable challenge absorbing vast amounts of intelligence and money. An achievable timetable cannot be adequately forecast. In fact the scientists/engineers have predicted an almost impossible task and enormous difficulty of placing one permanent human (or 2) on an alien desert world.
In that we cannot severe the umbilical cord from earth to supply the logistical requirement of bringing a human explorer back from Mars, why then do we pursue this mission when we have far more serious problems to resolve on our blue planet?
Surely we should instead be applying our intelligence and skills on earth to build a prototype “base” with life support, communication and technical equipment prior to ejecting humans into outer space to order to colonize planet Mars? Should we not be creating an extraordinary “space station” on earth in the first place? We know that if we place one human on Mars he or she would require 10,000 earth pounds of food water oxygen and energy! Is this justifiable? We surely must recognize that for “outer space” exploration we need to rather apply interdisciplinary design and intelligence to create “Terra and Aqua Station” prototype on earth first, before we transport ourselves outward into the universe.
The evolution and revolution of our historic past in transportation modes from a caveman to astronaut are significant. Surely it would be prudent to complete the sustainability prototype for transportation to serve such self-sustaining “stations”. Our mobility on earth must be resolved to accomplish more than our fourfold freedom of rights. The fifth that of movement is paramount universally – without it there is no life.
Human progress, prosperity, health and welfare and the pursuit of happiness demands an examination of how we renew our involvement together with constant cooperation toward a social behavior that is widely organized to pursue a peaceful goal in a safe environment providing a transportation solution.
To utilize and build an evacuated tube transportation system as proposed by ET3 of "super conducting linear magnetic lines affording capsule levitation in a vacuum" is to engage worldwide access of mobility for all citizens from place to place.
Collapsing distance and time with speed, provides efficiency in material use, less energy consumption and less cost per journey. This is the choice to be made to link old and new cities together for healthier living.
